Seller's Tax & Developer Resigning Costs

Seller’s Tax: As a seller, you will be required to pay a seller’s tax of 2.8% on the sale of your property. For non-citizens of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), this right to sell without the cost can only be exercised if the vendor has been residing in the TRNC for a minimum of six months out of the one-year period immediately prior to the transfer of title.

 

Developer Contract Resigning Fee: If your property is new and the title deeds haven’t been issued yet, the developer may charge a fee to update the sales contract for the new buyer. We can help you check if this applies to your sale.

 

Pricing Consistency
